YAY for Samantha!

I just got these from Sam and I LOVE them! The fishie even has stuffing in him! How cool is that?!
I can't wait to put this quilt together! I'm still waiting on squares from several of you, so whenever you can get those out it would be great. Thanks again ladies!

My latest project

I thought I would share what I have been working on the last couple of weeks.

My mom has been saying she wanted me to make her a quilt for her couch. She wanted a fairly large one but then found a fabric she really wanted for the back and there wasn't much left. So we ended up decideing to do more of a throw type size. I just finished it tonight and this is how it turned out. She is going to love it!
Here is a picture of the whole back, then a close up.
Here is a full picture of the front and then a close up.
This is the first time I have actually quilted a blanket together. I think I did a good job.

June square

I finished up the first square and am working on a second. If you need it immediately I can send this one Patti. I just wanted to get both of them in the same mailing.

Hope you like it.

Older pictures.

I have a bunch of older squares pictures that I haven't been able to post. I am hoping that these all come up correctly.

July Block

Andrea,
I figured the middle circle could be used for your sister to embroider my name. This was intended to look like a flower, but well...you know. I got carried away with free hand piecing and this was the result. It's kind of funky and I like it.

Good luck with your project!

July block

Andrea - I left the center open so I could write something on it... do you want me to leave it so all the blocks are embroidered/written in the same way? Or shall I just write something on it.

Also, please forgive the cat at the top - he's a curious little bugger. :)
